Zodiac Seats U.S. is pleased to announce that Ryanair has selected Zodiac Seats' Z110 high-density economy class seat for their Boeing 737MAX aircraft.
Zodiac Seats U.S. CEO Jeff Barger notes, "We are pleased with Ryanair's continued confidence in Zodiac Seats U.S. and the Z110. The Z110 was originally developed specifically for Ryanair to meet their exacting requirements and the latest version of the Z110 refines that effort even further reducing seat weight improving its economics all while increasing living space."
The efficient and robust Z110 features a redesigned back that optimizes the seat's living space particularly in terms of knee room and shin clearance. The newly sculpted back shroud improves shin clearance by one inch while also improving overall space across the back at knee level by nearly an inch enhancing customer comfort.
The Z110's armrest has also been redesigned with a concentric pivot enabling the arm to stow flush with the seat back increasing customer comfort.
Overall, the refined Z110 design leads to a simpler seat that is more robust and easier to maintain while providing the added benefit of reduced weight improving fuel burn and operating efficiency.
