Representatives of Diamond Aircraft are at Oshkosh with one new team member who joins the team of industry veterans. Diamond Aircraft announces the appointment of Nick Newby as its new USA Regional Sales Leader based in the USA, bringing 32 years of aviation industry experience to lead Diamond’s new USA sales department. Newby mirrors the Diamond seasoned team of aircraft experts who bring decades of frontline pilot experience and aircraft knowledge to every Diamond customer.  Adding Newby and his lifetime of industry experience to the team, ensures American customers now have factory-direct access and the personalized support in the USA needed to navigate the steps towards aircraft ownership.

Kevin Sheng, CEO, Diamond Aircraft commented: “A company's greatest resource is its people.  They accompany the customer on their journey from the moment their plan is set in motion to help them realize their dream of owning an aircraft.  With Nick's extensive background, in depth range of aviation knowledge, he is well positioned to serve our Diamond customers in the USA.”

Nick Newby is a 32-year aviation industry veteran with a well-rounded scope of experience, both domestically and internationally.  He has been in leadership positions with Cessna Aircraft, Pilatus Business Aircraft, Honda Aircraft Company, and Quest Aircraft Company (Daher) and operated his own aviation consulting and brokerage.  He holds an A&P license and has extensive experience with turbine helicopters, turbo-props and Jets. He also holds a multi-engine commercial pilot rating and is a CFI.  He enjoys back country flying in the Western USA where he is based, as well as flying with his whole family in the Diamond DA62.

Based in Western USA and touring with the DA62 and DA50 across the regions, Newby brings an attentive personalized approach for customers, saying that, “I ask them, where do you go?  What city pairs do you fly to?  Let’s fly that mission in your demo flight to really know how the aircraft works for you.  They experience firsthand how the Diamond fits into their own real world.”  Newby also added that, “Working with Diamond, is an honor, because the experience of flying in a Diamond is something that everyone always enjoys.”

Diamond has an exclusive show special for new aircraft owners this week, “Buy A Diamond Aircraft at Oshkosh, and Get Diamond Brilliance Training For Free”.  Diamond is enriching its delivery experience in the USA for new aircraft owners offering the new Diamond Brilliance Training Program to enhance the knowledge and skills of pilots, equipping them with the proficiency specific to owning a new piston twin DA62 or DA42, or DA50 aircraft upgrade.

Diamond is proud to offer its customers seasoned expertise at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Booth #9 with its team and dealer partners Premier Aircraft, Steel Aviation, and Aviation Unlimited, ensuring clients benefit from unmatched historical context and familiarity with its aircraft.  The Diamond team is offering other exclusive show specials for those who come by the booth and inquire.
