Jet Maintenance Solutions (Jet MS), a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions for business and regional aviation, has recently announced being recognized by Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

From autumn 2017 and onwards, Jet MS has been officially approved to provide line and base maintenance services in Nigeria. According to the issued certificate, the company is allowed to service Hawker BAE 125-700/800/750/800XP/850XP/900XP and Bombardier CL-600-2B19, CL-600-2B16, BD-700-1A10/1A11 types.

“Entering Nigerian market was a huge milestone for us. We went through extensive auditing process and received the certificate alerting our European quality service. This approval will provide operators with possibility to receive qualitative and rapid service. I am certain that certificate will only facilitate our expansion in the so-called the Giant of Africa,” comments Darius Saluga, CEO of Jet Maintenance Solutions.

In order to solve poor communication problem, a number of airports and growing number of business jets serve the need of internal communication between countries states, oil refineries and also international communication. Therefore, business aviation market is constantly growing: the number of airports has escalated to more than 20 in 2017, the amount of local and international carriers is constantly growing and now has reached almost 50 airlines. Currently, country hosts only few maintenance organizations with limited service availability, therefore alerts untapped opportunities for MRO business.

In order to fill that gap, many Nigerian business aviation operators are willing to perform maintenance outside the country. Therefore, Jet MS foresees its further development and cooperation with Nigerian business aviation clients to cover their demand not only from European MRO location, but also at their home bases.

Jet MS continuously expands its operations in terms of geography and serviced aircraft type. The company has recently added Bombardier Global 5000/6000 to its capabilities and was recognized by civil authorities of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Aruba and others.
