Signature Aviation private aviation terminal at PTY (Panama City, Panama) has earned the prestigious WYVERN Wingman FBO designation following a successful audit recently conducted by WYVERN. This certification sets a safety benchmark, enabling air charter operators to select FBOs that meet rigorous standards confidently and providing them with a validated distinction of excellence within the industry.

Brad Williams, Signature Aviation’s Chief Operating Officer, commented: At Signature, we’re committed to making every second exceptional for our guests, and this award speaks to our dedication to providing the highest levels of safety and service. We are proud of our PTY location for delivering safety and excellence and being the first in our network, and the second in the world, to achieve the WYVERN Wingman FBO designation.”

Andy Day, Senior Vice President, Operations said: We proudly announce that Signature Aviation’s PTY location has become the first FBO in the Americas to achieve Wingman FBO certification. This designation validates their effective safety management system, ground operations, and excellence in aircraft handling. Aviation organizations that attain Wingman FBO certification distinguish themselves by demonstrating compliance with industry best practices and allowing WYVERN to monitor their safety-related information continuously.”

WYVERN Wingman FBOs are evaluated using the Wingman Standard criteria, with a significant focus on the Safety Management System (SMS). This evaluation also includes an assessment of operational activities, a review of the company’s operational history and safety records, an internal evaluation program, and technical documentation.
