Wings of Business national business aviation award

The Wings of Business Award ceremony will take place in Moscow on 17 February 2017. The Wings of Business Award is a national award established by the Russian United Business Aviation Association (RUBAA) and is given for the highest achievements in the field of business aviation. The decision to launch it was taken as Russian business aviation has reached a high level of development by now; it demonstrates strong operating and economic performance and has become a high-tech and advanced industry that creates thousands of jobs.

Thus, it was decided to distinguish the best industry players at the first award ceremony that is planned to be held annually.

Unique prizes will be delivered to the winners based on the results of 2016 in such categories as business aviation airline, general aviation operator, business aircraft manufacturer, flight support, business flight organization broker, service company, etc. Additional awards will be given to the business aviation project of year, a legend-company, and a legend-person.

It is important to note that though the Wings of Business is a national award, such categories as foreign business aviation airline, business aircraft manufacturer, MRO company, project of the year and legendary achievements foresee international participation.

The ceremony will be held at the highest level: the dress code for the attendees will be black tie, guests will be offered haute cuisine, and the entertainment program will include performances by Russian celebrities. The Air Perfection contest for flight attendants will close the official part of the ceremony.

Business Aviation Systems, Ltd. lead by Mikhail Titov acts as a producer and a sponsor of the Wings of Business Award ceremony.

RUBAA will hold a press conference dedicated to the Wings of Business Award and the forthcoming first ceremony on September 8th as part of JetExpo 2016. The press conference will take place at 14:00 in the B2B hall of the exhibition in Vnukovo-3 Business Aviation Center.

The president of RUBAA Valery Ochirov, vice-president of RUBAA Mikhail Titov, chairman of RUBAA board Alexander Kuleshov, and the project producer Ksenia Ananieva are expected to take part in the press conference. The executive director of RUBAA Anna Serezhkina will direct the press conference.
