Meridian has added a second Bombardier Challenger 605 to its growing fleet of private business jets. This large cabin aircraft began service in 2012, seats up to nine passengers and is available for charter.

“We are very excited about adding a second Challenger 605 to our charter fleet,” Meridian Vice President of Aviation Sales Mike Moore says. “This aircraft comes fully furnished with everything a business traveler would expect to find in his or her office-in-the-sky. With a range of 4,000 (nautical) miles, this late-model aircraft is a great fit for our portfolio, because it increases the depth of our heavy jet offerings for our customers, who are now flying farther and more often.”

The Challenger 605 is an evolution from its predecessor, the Challenger 604, offering best-in-class cabin comfort combined with its ability to operate cost effectively. Bombardier added numerous enhancements when it designed 605. In the cockpit, avionics include a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21with four large flat-panel displays. The cabin was enlarged with space-efficient interior wall panels to increase usable head-room and width for passengers.
