Well prepared for the start of EURO 2024 BER welcomes all guests

Dobro došli! Bienvenido al BER! Welcome to Berlin Brandenburg Airport! Football teams and numerous fans will be landing at BER on charter and scheduled flights over the next few days. The airport company is expecting a slight increase in the number of travellers during the UEFA EURO 2024. Ten charter flights, mainly from Spain and Croatia, with teams and fans are expected at BER on Friday and Saturday alone. The Spanish team will be travelling via BER on Friday for the first group match. The Croatian national football team arrived at BER last Sunday and was welcomed directly at the aircraft by the Senator for Interior and Sport, Iris Spranger, the Croatian Ambassador Gordan Bakota and Airport CEO Aletta von Massenbach. 

The “Giant Trophy”, a 3.20-metre-high replica of the tournament trophy, can be admired on the Market Square in the security area until the end of EURO 2024. Various decorations in the shops and restaurant facilities in both terminals will also create a football atmosphere and fan merchandise will be on sale in many shops. All EURO 2024 matches will be broadcasted in the “Ständige Vertretung” (StäV) pub in the security area.  

A special offer is aimed at passengers who wish to use the BER Lounge Tegel. The lounge will extend its opening hours from 16 June to 21 July 2024 and welcomes passengers daily from 5 am to 9.30 pm.
