· Austrian Airlines continues to focus on tourist destinations
· Eight sunny medium-haul destinations offered in the winter flight schedule

Austrian Airlines is operating flights to yet another tourist destination starting tomorrow. Flight service will be offered once a week on Saturdays to Marrakech. The country’s national carrier will thus continue to focus on tourist destinations during winter time. In addition to the new sunny long-haul destinations of Mauritius and Colombo, Austrian Airlines will also add Marrakech as a new vacation destination in its portfolio.

People have a particular longing for a holiday under the sun in the winter months. For all those who do not want to travel for an overly long period, Austrian Airlines currently offers eight medium-haul destinations to the south of Austria. The current winter flight schedule includes flight service to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Hurghada, Madeira and Antalya in addition to Marrakech. This offering is designed to enable Austria’s flag carrier to compensate for the strong seasonality in the airline business and also to offer its passengers an interesting selection in sunny destinations in the winter as well.

Marrakech
Flights to Marrakech will be operated deploying an Airbus A319 aircraft and will be offered in the winter season from November 14, 2015 to April 2, 2016.
