Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated the outcome from aviation safety assessment of Civil Aviation Administration of Thailand (CAAT) in October 2015 has been assigned to Category 2 which cause Thailand’s carriers to be able to continue existing service to the United States, but unable to establish new service to the United States.

Bangkok Airways has neither operated a direct route to the United States nor has codeshare agreement with the U.S. carriers.

The company persists in the international aviation safety standards to ensure the confidence and the highest safety of the passengers.
