In August 2015, 16 Chinese carriers including Air China (CA) and China Eastern Airlines (MU) have taken delivery of 31 new passenger and cargo aircraft totally, including 15 Boeing 737s, three 777s, 10 Airbus A320s, two A330s and one CRJ900, according to aviation database website xmyzl.com.

Among the 31 new aircraft delivered in August, four were delivered to China Eastern, China Southern Airlines (CZ) and Hainan Airlines, respectively. Air China, Xiamen Airlines (MF) and Shenzhen Airlines (ZH) each received three new planes, with one for Air China Cargo, Capital Airlines (JD), China West Air (PN), Chengdu Airlines (EU), China Express Airlines (G5), Hebei Airlines (NS), Shandong Airlines (GS), Shanghai Airlines (FM), Sichuan Airlines (3U), Ruili Airlines (DR), respectively.

Specifically, China Eastern took delivery of its eighth Boeing 777-300ER aircraft (Registration B-2023) on Aug. 12, with another 777-300ER (Registration B-2029) delivered to the Guangzhou-based carrier on Aug. 28.

Hainan Airlines received two A330-300 aircraft at the end of August, Registration B-1527 and B-1528.

According to the source, a total of 226 new aircraft were delivered to China in the first eight months of this year, including 35 wide-body aircraft and 191 narrow-bodies and regional jets. In August, the 31 new aircraft delivered to China include 26 narrow-body aircraft and five wide-bodies.
