COMAC and Jiangxi Hongdu Aviation Industry completed the delivery of the forward fuselage and the mid and aft fuselage sections of C919 (serial number 10102) in Nanchang on Aug. 31-Sep. 2, according a notice released on the official website of the aviation watchdog.
It is the first time that three major parts were delivered simultaneously since Hongdu Aviation Industry Group took the role of the home-made aircraft supplier.
This also marks a significant progress for consistently manufacture of C919 major parts in Jiangxi Hongdu Aviation Industry and a step further to the maiden flight of the home-developed passenger aircraft.
