A branch of Russia's United Aircraft Corporation is negotiating the delivery of 5 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100)aircraft to the Irish CityJet airline, a number of sources familiar with the deal said Sunday.

A source close to Russia's Trade and Industry Ministry confirmed the information to RIA Novosti.

On Friday, Russian Trade and Industry Minister Denis Manturov said that the European deliveries of the Russian SSJ-100 passenger aircraft will begin with a British air carrier.
