Cessna Caravan fleet expands with order from PT Semuwa Aviasi Mandiri

The global fleet of Cessna Caravans will soon expand with an order from Indonesian operator PT Semuwa Aviasi Mandiri, the company member of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal  (Yasa - SAM Air), for a Cessna Caravan. The versatile aircraft will strengthen Yasa - SAM Air’s ability to support cargo, logistics and passenger operations and conduct weather modification missions across Indonesia.

Yasa - SAM Air currently operates one Cessna Caravan and a Cessna Grand Caravan EX for charter and logistics services for critical supplies. Cessna Caravan and Grand Caravan EX cockpits currently feature Garmin’s G1000 NXi avionics with the latest technology and connectivity.  More than 3,100 Cessna Caravan aircraft have been delivered into more than 100 countries since the aircraft was introduced. With over 25 million flight hours amassed worldwide, Caravans fulfill roles for a multitude of missions, ranging from flight training to recreation, commuter airlines to VIP transport, cargo carriers and humanitarian missions. The Grand Caravan EX aircraft is known for its dependable and efficient performance by regional airlines, charter operators, cargo carriers and Special Missions operators worldwide. The aircraft offers an impressive output of 867 horsepower and a rate of climb of 1,275 feet per minute.
