Heston MRO acquires Aviation NDT Services Pty Ltd

Heston MRO continues its growth as the largest independent total care MRO in Australasia through acquisition of Melbourne based Aviation NDT Services. Aviation NDT services was established in 1986 and has since positioned itself as a quality provider of independent & flexible NDT services across Australia, Pacific Island and Asia region. The company provides its NDT solutions to a wide range of general and commercial aviation customers across the region.

Asta Zirlyte, CEO at Heston MRO, commented: ‘We are very excited about Aviation NDT Services joining the Heston MRO family. We aim to have a seamless integration of the two businesses as one Heston MRO NDT Unit by continuing to provide NDT services to existing General Aviation customers and expanding our range into wider Commercial Aviation marketplace. During 2024, Heston MRO NDT Unit will also obtain CASA Part 145 approval for Rating D services to establish a training ground for NDT career development to its current and new employees.
