EPA Training Center, Curitiba, Brazil acquires a FlightSafety ATR 42-500/42-300/72-200 Full Flight Simulator from FST – Flight Simulator Trader to develop its training portfolio for South American and overseas operators of ATR aircraft. Flight Simulator Trader is acting as general contractor on behalf of the seller and EPA Training Center thus completing sourcing of Full Flight Simulator, evaluating, upgrading and relocating the device. Commencement of training is planned for late 1st quarter of 2020. During the development of its new Training Center location at Curitiba Airport Brazil, EPA Training Center selected Flight Simulator Trader with a given track record in sourcing, evaluating, selling and relocating simulators. The ATR Full Flight Simulator which had been a part of FSTs portfolio is currently in the process of being relocated to Curitiba Airport to its new training location.
“We are very happy to work with EPA Training Center and help them building their training portfolio!”, says Mr Alexander Schaffler, Managing Director of Flight Simulator Trader. “Flavio Farias is a CEO with a very positive and encouraging attitude and we are very positive about our future business relationship and adding benefits to EPA as a growing FSTD Operator.”
“Alexander Schaffler, FST, has been very supportive of all of our demands since the beginning and definitely contributed to the success of this acquisition. With the ATR FFS, we expect to expand training services to Latin American regional airlines with highly experienced instructors in a brand with an 8-bay facility.”
EPA Training Center has over 40 years of experience in training and human resource training for civil aviation. During all of these years, EPA has flown thousands of hours without any accidents. In addition, we have trained hundreds of pilots, flight attendants and mechanics with a highly effective approach, always aiming to expand the concepts of safety in all areas.
With a long and respectable history in basic training for aviation professionals, EPA has opened a new business unit in the aircraft market. In 2006, the company was chosen by Embraer to acquire Embraer 110 - Bandeirante and Embraer 120 - Brasilia Full Flight Simulators. During this process more than 15 Brazilian and foreign companies have participated in what EPA has selected to be anEmbraer training provider. Thus, EPA was certified by ANAC, according to Brazilian Civil Aviation Regulation 142, as a Training Center for Civil Aviation / Type Rating Training Organisation.
