Engine failure forced the pilot of an ULM which had just taken off from Colmar - Houssen aerodrome attempting a perilous landing saturday morning shortly before 11 am.

The aircraft landed on a plowed field near Saint Hippolyte and flipped. The two passengers were unharmed.
