Aerosource Inc. announced the acquisition of the Aerojet General ‘Turbo Products Division’ (TPD) based in Redmond, WA.
TPD is the manufacturer of Air Driven Generators, Ram Air Turbines, Target Towing Systems, Ice Detectors, and Air Inlet Controllers used on various commercial and military aircraft including the DC-10, MD-10, MD-11, F4 and F/A-18. All manufacturing and repair functions of TPD will be consolidated into Aerosource’s expanding Somerset, New Jersey facility. Although Aerosource has had capabilities since 2002 for Air Driven Generators and Ram Air Turbines manufactured by Aerojet, as well as other manufacturers, this acquisition will enhance Aerosource’s ability to service and support its customers around the world.
